Richard smiled. This was the best day in a while. Together, they went over to the stores, and bought the things they spoke of... and a few more. After a while, they headed home to Richard's mansion. He set them each up with a room (a couple of many), and all was calm. The night had long set in. It was almost time for bed. This had been quite the day. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door! Who could it be, no one has knocked on this door in ages...and at this hour? He went to the door, and cautiously opened it. What?! It was... The waitress? "Hello sir... I know this is weird, but I asked around and some people told me that you lived over here. I came here... To apologize. I had a really rough day, and I've never wanted to be a waiter, and I just really wanted to say sorry because I saw your tip and..." she began to tear up. "It really made me realize I should have been treating you better. Even after I treated you so bad, you were generous to me. And I'm so thankful for that." "Hey, hey, it's okay. You helped me to train my anger! Today was the first day I had decided to really try to not lash out, and to be generous with what I had. And having that opportunity was a lot better than having to wait and hold my resolve until some day in the future, and forgetting about it!" Rich said. "Maybe so, but that doesn't justify the way I acted... I'm sorry", she replied. "It's okay. It's totally okay." Richard said. "Can I give you a hug?" she asked. Richard didn't say anything, he just obliged. "Hey, uhm..." Richard started. "I just took in these two kids and... I know you said you don't like the waiting job. I've got a whole mansion, and there's another room that's empty. And... I'm going to need some help to take care of these kids. Would you like to... Be a stay at home nanny of sorts? I'll pay you more than enough to live off of. And you won't have to be a waiter any more." "That... That sounds great. I'll have to think about that." she replied. "Okay, well, just let me know what you decide, Cassie." Richard said, jokingly. "Oh, how did you know my name?? hahahahaha" she laughed. "You still have on your name tag!" he said. "Oh! Haha! I do. Well, here!" she took the tag off, and threw it at him. A short pause happened. "I'll let you know what I decide!" she said, in a good-natured sarcastic tone. "Good night!" Richard said. "Good night! Cassie said. The door closed. Wow. Free name tag. Now that's generous! :D The End
