Rod remembered the energy that the peace-warriors had recieved in their encounter and thought: "So, that was the result of faith, or just merely anger? I guess I don't have to care about it anymore, everything's pretty much gone right now." He had a distraught look, because he remembers like it was yesterday since him and Reaven had to take their separare ways looking for diferent goals, one wanted freedom from himself and the other wanted absolute domination. Paul noticed his concern and asked:
Paul: "Are you okay?"
Rod:"Yeah, just thinking about something"
P: "About what? There is literally nothing in your head that could he worse than what's happening right now"
R: "Question"
P:"Yes?"
R:"Why do you still believe?"
P:"What are you talking about?"
R:"Why do you still believe it's still hope for us, we're condemned, y'know."
P:"Oh, that, well, this proves me you're still too young to comprehend, haha."
R:"What are you talking about? ¡Just tell me!"

Paul changed his mood suddenly and said: "I believe because someone needs to do it. You see, I'm aware that everything's lost, but yet i still need to give my people hope, that was my goal my entire life, to be the man that people could put their trust into." Those words stroke Rod and made him drop a tear. He stands up from the corner and has a serious face, the first time in the whole day he feels nothing but determination, to do the right thing. "What are you doing?" Paul said. "I'mma stop this masacre, even if it means I have to give my life trying" said Rod, while sealing his arm.

Paul called Rod before he left and told him that that seal was getting old and his spiritual energy was getting lower and lower. Paul sealed him with the Priest's sign, An arrouwed star which was held by the most powerful beings on Earth, the Qetsiu. It was the same seal Reaven held.

R:"This power. It is incredible. How did it merge with my spirit, ¡I feel capable of doing anything now!
P:"It's the god's aura, use it as you may."

Rod walked out of the shelter willing to have his last fight against his friend, or at least, what's remaining of him.

Author note.

If you see this part was nothing but to make the reader realize how is Rod feeling to be in such a situation and how Paul made him have faith again.
