     CHAPTER ONE
It was a warm overcast Friday afternoon late in the month of September. Clouds where beginning to gather over the hills to west of the ghost town known as Silverado. Thomas Bloomfield and his partner Victoria
 Bradshaw, were walking down a lonely dirt road towards what they could tell was a building of some sort. 
It had been a long day so for Victoria and Thomas, there car had broken down about a kilometer back down the dirt road. Victoria turn to Thomas and said in a tired voice, ," I hope to find shelter soon !"
"I know I am too I don't like the weather." Replied Thomas.
It was not long they felt a light drizzle falling on their heads, they increased their walking pace.  As Victoria and Thomas got closer to the building they could see that it was a cottage.
