For the next couple of days....me and,mr popeye  reopen the chicken shack.we build up the front . fix   the restrooms ,and reopen for business.mr popeye shows me how, to make his famous chicken spinach. he also  
baked spinach  buscuits as well,he  was pretty  handy in the cooking area."what type of work,did you do before you became a sailor?"i asked" I WORKED IN DE KITCHEN..KITCHEN DUTY! ON THE NAVY SHIP  OVERSEAS!"he says loudly as we make up the batter n spices for the chichen." so i see."...i reply back to him.  and then i see him  take the spinach,from the can...add it to the chicken batter and mix it in. it comes out a good  thick  chunky  crust !  when its fried!"ookiee  try diz"  he says. i take a  bite and ..........."WOW....THIS IS VERY GOOD"! I SAY..." SCRUMPTIOUS! I TAKE ANOTHER BITE..."MMMM delicious." i say... with that.....we get our first 5 customers  at the  Chicken  shack!l
