My skin color

I couldn't say No, not to that beautiful smile, That takes away all the pain, just for a little while

Not all the stars have names, ive named one after you,
When love slips off my hands, and face the fact that One day ill have to lose you
Ill look up in the sky, there'll be a sparkling light, not so far from moon, Everyday in the afternoon, I will surely remember you, through the Star that I have named after you.

I would've, If I could, Love You till your hair turns grey,
I would've, if I could, tell you that I love you every single day
I would've, if I could, wake up next to you and kiss you on your forehead just to begin the day
But that's just an illusion, I know one day you'll be with another man.
And on that Day, I'll wish I was a dead man.

I would've if I could, but I cannot, because I was born Black..and you are Not.
