I wrote this on another platform that I don't know if I'll go back to, so I updated it. I enjoy writing Harry Potter fanfictions and below is a detailed report of what I think of when reading or writing fanfictions. 8th March 2017 Hello Everyone, I've been writing for thirteen years while working full time at several different locations (not at the same time :) and two years ago I decided that I'd had enough. I left my twenties a long time ago, and have just published my first ebook on Amazon Kindle. Fiction Writing was not my first love - there, I said it - and I could slap myself for this. Writing for me was like that guy who I thought of as a friend, even though he really liked me and kept hinting, but I pretended to misunderstand and looked longingly at the guy who wouldn't give me the time of day. I love writing. I love when the plots come together and I can't help but think 'Oh My God! My imagination is #!*%* AWESOME!' and then when I can't think of what to write for a week or more, all I want to do is bang my head against a wall until I get back into it. I normally write Paranormal, Fantasy, Erotic Romances (all Interracial) riddled with dry humour and I'm currently working on a three-part novel, which I've shelved for a moment, while I published my Paranormal Erotic Fantasy (Interracial) short story. Anyway... one of my guilty pleasures is Reading Fanfiction (Harry Potter, Stargate SG1, Star Trek TNG). I write Harry Potter fanfics that are only for mature readers. New Adults may not appreciate my writing either and I write mostly Interracial stories. I try not to write smut, but the sex scenes are mostly graphic. My favourite Characters and Pairing (Reading Writing) Severus Snape & Harry Potter - Father and Son, Mentor, Guardian (ONLY) Severus Snape & Hermione Granger - Love Interest - some stories I don't mind, but I don't like them as much anymore. I'm beginning to dislike this pairing. I don't know why. Severus Snape & Aurora Sinistra - Love Interest (so far I like only what I write as she's rarely written about and, apparently, writers are afraid or uncomfortable describing her as 'black'. A problem they also seem to have with Blaise Zabini). Yes... I know they weren't described in the early books, and fanfiction writers are free to describe them how they want. Severus Snape & Xhara Diya (Original Character) - Love Interest - I've almost completed one story concerning these two, the strange thing is, I started writing it long before Storm & The Half-Blood Prince. Harry Potter & Luna Lovegood - Love Interest Harry Potter & Neville Longbottom - Friendship, Brotherly (ONLY) I don't read or write slash. Hence the (ONLY). I will hint sometimes in my stories about relationships like this (Not negatively and never my Main Characters) but I will not go further. Characters I Dislike Intensely Ronald Weasley, Ginevra Weasley, Molly Weasley (sometimes), Albus Dumbledore (unless he's repentant), Lily Potter (Evans), Sirius Black and James Potter. My Disappointment With The Harry Potter (Movies Books) There was no bloody connection or attraction between Harry and Ginny The Fangirl and you can sense this in both the book and the movies. Luna would have made the perfect partner for Harry as they had more in common and Luna's 'weirdness' would have grounded him, or dragged him out of his 'Oh Woe is Me' mood. Plus, no matter what Rowling said, Hermione would not have been any better as she would have nagged him. That said... Pairing Hermione and Ron was another mistake, Hermione needed someone more like herself. Maybe Percy Weasley. I know I said I like the Severus and Hermione pairing but I'm finding that she's too immature; if she could choose to be with Ron AND marry him in canon, then she deserves any unhappiness she suffers with him. In fact, Ron should have died in canon and Fred left to live his life with his twin. 15th March 2017 Like I said before, I will be deleting my other account. I have thought of another way to write Promises Lies and so I will be working on that In-between my Original work. Now that I have more writing experience, I know, without having to check, that there are a few errors I will be correcting plus I'm going to cut down on all the 'fluffy' crap. While I love soulmate/mate stories, I - personally - have changed over the years, and though I do still try sometimes, I can't (don't want to) write about long walks on a beach or candle light dinners. So when I write Romances, don't look for fluffy/angst, (you know) "Does he really love me? Why won't he call or write? I need him. We're meant to be!" Until the very end, where 'feelings' happen. 17th March 2017 I listened to the audiobook Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. *Sigh* The only part of it that I approved of (or the part I found believable) was the secret relationship if you can call it that, between Voldemort and Bellatrix. I would love to rant about what was done to Severus, believe me... I really, really want to... but I won't. I'm sure there are others who've done it already. Enjoy my first one-shot, Devotion. Voices, Characters or Actors I Think of While Writing Severus Snape - Benedict Cumberbatch Or Alan Rickman Lily Evans - Juliette of Grimm (dislike her as much as I dislike Lily) Bitch torched the Trailer! Aurora Sinistra - Garcelle Beauvais, Angela Bassett and sometimes Kerry Washington. Xhara Diya (Original Character) - Teyonah Parris, Keshia Knight-Pulliam or Meagan Good For Updates Besides Email Follow me on Instagram: bluehot_chronicles or just send me a friend request here on Writer's Outlet to read and RATE my stories.
