"Dude, you have to do it!" My best friend said. I was scared, but ready.
"Fine! Well...." 
"No. You want to go out with him, you ask him!" 
"But... No..." I said. Just then, he walked by. My friend cami nudged me.
"Hey..um.. Logan, can I ask you something?.."
"Yea." He said.
"I was wondering.. Would you like to-"
"Sorry, I got to go." He said.
"There. I tried." I said. 
-next day-
I was sitting in lit, when the lights went out, The internet went down, and no one got any service.
"What's going on?" A kid in the back said.
"If I see a red balloon, I'm out." Said another. Then the lights turned back on. But something seemed off. The closet door in the back was slightly open.
"Has that door always been open...." I asked. Everyone turned. The door burst open. Nothing was there. Everyone screamed. We ran out of the classroom. A while later we heard a voice,
"I'm gonna get you..." 
"Who was that!" Someone yelled. A kid dropped to the floor. Dead. It was the kid who talked.
"I'm gonna get you..." The voice repeated.
"Nobody talk!" A the super smart kid said. He to dropped dead. Everyone realized our only hope for survival was to be absolutely silent. 
"I'm gonna get you..." The voice repeated for the third time....
(My inspiration for this story was a random power surge at my school.)
