They pretend to "know me" yet they know so little of the real me.
They give a polite laugh when I joke yet don't hear that it's not a joke. Their eyes judge while their words betray the looks upon their faces. These masquerades of friends in strangers faces. None reach out to the soul inside hiding behind carefully drawn laugh lines. None see these tears fall as a piece dies again. 
Yet none care for they are fools upon this worldly court, Jesters in this Masquerade of societies ball...
