As I'm running through the deep woods, I hear footsteps coming closer and closer. I try to run away but I'm stuck, frozen there is no way to move, no way to escape. I see a black shadow coming closer and whispering something I can't make out. "Help!" as I scream this the shadow says, "No one can hear you down hear." As I start to scream my mom shakes me waking me up. I am gasping for air, looking shocked and not comprehending what had just happened. My mom asked me, "Are you having those dreams again?" As she looks at me she already knows the answer. I just now my head as she hands me a cold glass of water and leaves my room. I quickly write down my experience in my dream journal I kept under my bed. As I am writing I see something move in the corner of my eye, I quickly glance over in that direction and see nothing. I must be going crazy I think to myself just as my cellphone rings scaring me. It's my best friend Jillian and she is telling my about her crazy dream which was very similar to mine. We have always been close to each other, ever since second grade to be exact. We tell each other everything even the unimportant things. I tell her my dream as well, and then I start to get ready for school. As I'm waiting for the bus I can still hear the whispering of the shadowy figure, but it's in another language. I hear the bus honking and I quickly run up to it, and the bus driver says, "What took you so long? I've been honking for five minutes." I look at him curiously, and I make my way to my seat next to Jillian.
