I'm gonna start off by saying that this is based on my experiences and mistakes, these tips may not work for everyone. When it all comes down to it, you know your body better than anyone and you'll figure out what works best for you, this is mostly just to give you suggestions as well as some safety tips.

Let's start off with the basics, everyone's favorite subject: chest binding. Now, this is probably one of the more iffy things, since there is no method that is 100% safe. The safest way to bind is to buy a binder from a trusted company (underworks, GC2B, ect.) Of course not everyone can afford them, so I'll list some sources you can try out.
            -big brothers used binder program
            -in a bind
            -binder boys
            -replace the ace
            -free/cheap ftm binders Facebook group
-point 5cc T-shirt company (free binder with purchase of T-shirt)
            -MORF binder exchange
-come as you are's binder bucks recycling program

If none of these work for you or if you have no way of getting one without being outed, I'll list and describe ways that you can bind without a binder, keep in mind that your chest needs to be able to expand.
-Shape wear: this is what I used for quite a while. All you need is two (or more, depending on chest size) shape wear tank tops. They're designed to be lose around the chest, but tight around the stomach, so all you need to do is fold the bottoms of both tank tops up under your armpits. Then put a regular sports bra over it to keep everything in place.
-two sports bras method: this only works for guys with a smaller chest. All you need to do is put one sports bra on backwards and the other on normally.
-leggings: this method is gonna require a bit more work then the other two. Find a pair of tight leggings and cut a hole in the crotch. Next cut off the legs and try it on, your head will go through the hole in the crotch that you cut. I've never used this method, so I can't really comment on how much it actually binds.

Next up is binding safety. DO NOT USE ACE BANDAGES OR DUCT TAPE YOU WILL HURT YOURSELF. Ace bandages will tighten everytime you take a breath, they can cause broken ribs, deformed ribs, punctured lungs, and fluid build up in the lungs. Duct tape can rip off your skin and cause some pretty nasty scars, plus it can't stretch, so fluid build up can happen with this as well. When you're shopping for a binder, make sure your measurements are somewhat accurate, never go down a size. Never wear your binder longer than 12 hours, and don't sleep in it. Whenever you remove whatever you're binding with, cough a few times, it'll loosen up any fluid build up. Don't try to put on a binder after getting out of the bath, wait until you dry off.

Moving on to packing, this is much more straight forward, as you can either order on online, or make your own using a few socks. Really there's only two things to look out for, make sure you have something to secure it with, no one wants their penis falling out of their pants leg (it's happened to me more than once, trust me, it's not fun) and make sure that its not too big.

Last thing is more cosmetic than anything, walking and clothing. Keep in mind that jackets will hide any side man-boobage as well as any feminine curves. As for walking, I'd suggest watching other guys and how they walk. Mostly just keep your feet shoulder length apart, don't put one foot directly in front of the other. Other than that, keep your head high, and walk with confidence.
