                               "The Best Day at the Park"

        On one sunny morning, Emily jumped out of the bed with excitement knowing what today would bring. She got dressed and quickly ran down the stairs to eat breakfast with her mom and dad. In a hurry to eat her breakfast, she and her parents hopped in the car on the way to the park. As they arrived at the park, Emily noticed her friend Jill; they ran to each other arms wide open and gave each other a hug.

        "Hey Jill. Do you wanna play?" asked Emily friendly. "Yes Emily. Let's play on the monkey bars," replied Jill. Emily and Jill ran towards the monkey bars laughing; they were hanging upside down like monkeys while making silly faces.
       
         After playing at the monkey bars, Emily and Jill went to the slide; they were having a contest on who slides down the fastest. They were taking turns going down the slide. They were imagining themselves driving race cars down the slide. Emily laughed at Jill; Jill laughed at Emily.

          Thereafter, Jill asked Emily, "Do you wanna swing?" Emily replied as she smiled, "Yes Jill!" While they were swinging, Jill was pretending she was flying like a bird; Emily was imagining herself flying a plane. They seemed free while they felt the wind flowing in their hair. They were swinging opposite and same directions.

           Afterward, they skipped their way towards the sea saw. They went up and down.  They went high and low. They went fast and slow. They even started to sing a friendship song.

          Eventually, the day was turning into evening; and Emily had to go home. Emily and Jill were very sad, but they hugged each other before they left the park in their cars. When they left, Emily and Jill each went the opposite direction.

         In a while, Emily arrived at home; she and her family ate their supper. After a long day of play, Emily was very tired; her mom and dad tucked her in bed. Emily went fast asleep dreaming of her best day at the park.
