Alex was walking home from school. He heard footsteps, heavy footsteps.... He spun around. There was the thing he feared the most.........

"Alex!" His best friend Eric called.
"Hey!" He yelled back.
"Have you started the project yet?"
"What project?" Alex asked.
"The one Mrs. Ruth spent all class period talking about?.." Eric gave Alex a weird look. "You were 'thinking' again, weren't you." Thinking was the term they had decided on when speaking about Alex's abnormality. He could see things others couldn't. And the only one he told about it was Eric. Eric was like him. He had abnormalities to. 
"Yea.."
"Don't worry, I'll cover for you, like I always do."
"Thanks bro.." Alex felt relieved.
"What was it this time?" 
"Nothing important."
"Bro. What was it this time?"
"Nothing, OK?!?!" Alex yelled. He immediately felt bad.
