My eyes are bloodshot red

I can't sleep for the shadows dance
In my head.

They laugh and howl at me, drawing me closer

I refuse to go, which angers them
They grab me with chains, my arms, my legs, and my heart

They pull me forcefully closer to them
I fight back pulling the opposite direction.

I fall causing them to laugh 

Their howls and laughter sends shivers up my spine

Goosebumps arise on my dirtied and bruised skin

 I refuse to give up, but I'm starting to lose my hope

They have those spine chilling smiles that show just how despicable they are

I cry for help but no words

My voice is gone

But where?

With one last pull they pull into a pit of darkness no one can escape

At last my battle is done for I have fought over the years.
