Woke up & I got up
Thanking God for today
Can't let yesterday keep me stuck
I got blessings on the way

The devil thought he had me
Tried to kill me in my sleep
I woke up with the victory
Never staying in defeat

That's not apart of my DNA
The blood of Christ runs thru my veins
I live to fight another day
I forever call on His name

Battle tested
With the scars
I'm into invested
He brought me this far

I can't turn around
I got too much to lose
Keeping my feet on solid ground
The devil's ego I'll continue to bruise 

I've been strong
I stayed down when I should have fold
I had no choice but to press on
I'm trying to walk those streets of gold

Straight & narrow is the way
Never been perfect in my life
I'm like you I'm trying to find my way
That's why I stay resting in Christ💯
