Somebody told me one time not to worry so much. They said, "if it won't matter in 10 years don't worry about it today." We hold ourselves accountable to mistakes we made, but sometimes don't let them go. For 2 years I held onto something that was affecting my relationships, not just with God, but with my wife, my kids, my friends, and even myself. I just couldn't let it go. I knew I had messed up. What I came to realize though was that thing I was holding and ready to pay up for had already been paid for by Jesus. He paid it when he died on the cross. Nothing that we do is too big for our God. He took care of it no questions asked. So I urge you let go of what you're holding onto because I promise you when you're in His kingdom one day that tiny thing that's affecting you now won't even be an afterthought. All of our sins were paid for all we have to do is accept His payment. I know this because He lives and because of that my fears are gone.
