I dreamed of life.
Life was what they gave me, the fool that drank, that cried and the clown that laughed
everytime I knocked him down.
That was life, that was life.

I dreamed of life and in my hands, without knowing it, I had it; at home, in my stories, at school and in the bows of that angel with two braids.

That was life, that was life, but I didn't know it, but I didn't know it.

And my youth faded away, without knowing what life was.

I dreamed of life, life was that rebelliousness, that bundle of unfulfilled illusions and the desire for a love that never came.

That was life, that was life.

I dreamed of life, and in my hands, without knowing it, I had it; in everything that surrounded me, that tree in the garden where I played and my mother's hands with their caresses.

That was life, that was life, but I did not know it, but I did not know it, and my youth was gone, without knowing what life was.
