When I felt my soul caught in your hands,
   And you started doing whatever
   You wanted from my heart...

I didn't think I would have the strength
   To leave everything I loved behind,
   And start a new life without you in it...
  For the rest of my life.

  Every time I told you to change, 
  You said you were unchangeable.
   I hope you've found what you
   Couldn't find in me...

You told me to come back
   As if I could restart my feelings,
 I told you: "Forget me, dear."
   "I know you don't need me."
