Those who are loved win,
 And those who love lose. 

 I became careless 
 After caring too much 
   When I shouldn't
  Have gotten involved.

 Loving being unloved 
  Has dried me up, 
  Like an autumn leaf 
 That lost the fight.

 Those who care...
  Are not cared for.
 I'm tired of making plans
  Only to see them fall.

 I let myself be carried away
  By the strong wind, 
 This life has other plans for me.
