Just one song played,
   And all the memories
   I have with you,
   Come along the way...

I never knew if you liked me,
  Or just tormented me, 
I don't know what made me
   Like you in the end.
 I still like you, but I won't have you.

 Sugar can often be confused with salt,
   What can I do to forget your beautiful eyes?
 You told me I was a funny guy...
  But I made you laugh while my heart cried.

I thought it would take time
  For things to settle down,
  But time only deepened my wounds,
   I could never forget you, 
  Looking at you with love.
