Poem - Where The Stars Travel Read Count : 10

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A

The stars are dispersed throughout the sky

like thoughts too numerous to contain,

their glow a quiet gift

to the shadows below.

I stand here,

petite and motionless,

allowing their existence to occupy the space

between inhalation and contemplation,

where time is nonexistent.

There is no quest in this instant,

no necessity to pursue the truths

that linger just beyond grasp.

The stars do not seek comprehension,

they merely burn,

peaceful and perpetual,

a reminder that existence alone suffices,

without the demand for rationale.

The night expands broadly,

an open palm welcoming me,

not to fathom its profundity,

but to find solace within it,

to be embraced by the tranquility

that lies beyond the constraints of time.

In the shadows,

I discover a serene sense of belonging,

a return to something primal

that requires no justification.

I am not disconnected from the stars—

we are interlaced from the same essence,

a ballet of light and dark,

each of us glimmering in the infinity

without dread of extinguishment.

I do not query where the stars travel,

or why they shine with such unwavering elegance.

I simply allow their luminescence to flow within me,

a heartbeat,

a cadence

that links me to everything.

And in this instant,

as the sky murmurs its mysteries,

I realize that the universe is not a riddle to decipher,

but a melody to be experienced,

and I,

a single note,

am part of its infinite symphony.
