Every time I asked you
  Where you were going, 
 You told me that
  I was trying to control you.

 You wanted freedom, 
 To come back whenever you wanted, 
 Without me being 
 Able to ask you anything.

 Maybe that's how you liked it, 
 To do whatever you wanted, 
 Strangers in the room, 
 Lovers in bed, 
 The rest of the day
  You treated me like a friend.
