You were the way,
  I wanted someone to be,
   Kind, true, and sweet...

  Without feeling the need 
  To say big words,
   To impress my thoughts.

 You were there,
   When I needed a long hug, 
  When I felt you clinging to me,
   I wouldn't have let you leave my arms.

You were there,
  When I needed someone to talk,
   Without feeling judged,
  Without feeling worse or bad.

 I hope you felt good around me
   Even though I didn't know
   How to express all my feelings 
   In front of your beautiful eyes.
