Anxiety Is The Real Deal - Revised Read Count : 30

Part of Poem Collection

Anxiety is the real deal—
I feel the fright with everything in sight.

It blindsides me every time,
Always stealing my peace of mind.

Tears of fear well in my eyes,
I feel as though I'm going to die.

I take a deep breath and hope for the best,
Praying to God to put it to rest.

The panic fades and the storm recedes,
And suddenly I feel a higher peace.

The fearful storm always clears,
The sunlight wipes away my tears.

Anxiety’s a heavy fight,
But still—I rise into the light.

So, knock it down and refuse the defeat.
Stand back up and just repeat.
