When everything inside her shattered—her mind turned into a storm of doubt, her heart weighed heavy with past mistakes—she feared she would be lost forever.

The nights were the cruelest—silence pressing down like a weight on her chest, shadows whispering lies that pulled her deeper into the darkness.

She sat on the edge of her bed, eyes fixed on the window. Outside, the world was still and quiet, but inside, chaos raged.

Then, something caught her eye.

A tiny flicker of light danced softly on the windowsill, almost too small to notice. It pulsed gently, like a heartbeat—warm, steady and unwavering. It didn’t demand anything and it certainly didn’t judge--it  simply existed.

She blinked, wondering if exhaustion was playing tricks on her mind, but the light remained.

Curiosity crept in, easing the weight on her chest. Her fingers trembled as she reached out and touched the fragile glow.

The warmth seeped into her skin—a quiet promise that maybe, just maybe, she wasn’t alone.

She closed her eyes and breathed in slow, steady breaths, and for the first time in a long time, she let herself hope.

The small light was enough to remind her that even in the darkest rooms, when the night felt endless, something inside her still flickered. Still fought.

Maybe, this wasn’t the end. Maybe, this was just the beginning. And for the first time in a long time, she believed she could find her way back to the light.
