I love you and that's the only assurance you need....

Once I said I love you
Didn't nothing change
I know the hell that you've been thru
And it's a dirty shame

Heart been broken so many times
Being attracted to the same spirit
You're losing a dollar while chasing a dime
Save the excuse I don't want to hear it

Being caught up in your head
You playing these games
Trying to see who's in my bed 
Steady causing yourself pain

Knowing it's always been you
But you steady testing me
Trying to put me through 
But you see what you want to see

That's why I backed off
And left you to do you
I'm done paying the cost
Of what others put you through 

I can't let you stress me out
I'm Steady gaining weight
This isn't what love's about
I had to push back that plate

Now I'm focusing on me
Because I'm done being hurt
I had to set myself free
And put in the work

I got to let God do His part
I'm staying my distance 
Until He fixes your heart ❤️
