Giving Toys, toys, toys, there be all kinds of toys. Some played more with by girls, others more so by boys. While still others get played with by any and all. Be it scooter or paint set or a red bouncing ball. Toys, toys, toys, some are big, some are little. While still others fall somewhere smack dab in the middle. Some are made to be played with alone, while still others. Are more fun played with friends, or one's sister or brother. Toys, toys toys they're in endless supply. Toy stores keep fully stocked with toys for all to buy. But then what of the poor with no means for to pay. Homeless kids are still kids who desire to play. Toys, toys, toys, what of one's never sold. They get shoved in back rooms, where they sit and grow old. Defects, they are not, rather as good as any. Just the victims of overstocked orders, too many. Toys, toys, toys, all the ones left behind. Won't you come rescue them from the likes of mankind? You'll discover true joy when you're handing them out. As each smile reinforces what life's really about. JULIE Bergeron
