    The sun was slowly dipping over the trees. The cool breeze turned colder. "Come on Blake, just a little longer- Please!" My best friend was begging me not to go home. "I'm sorry Tracie, I have a load of English homework.." I said back to my begging friend. "Seriously, me live at the same house and I have all the same classes, and I know that all we had to do was a vocabulary...  Wait are you still shook up about Jason and Amanda?" Tracie questioned me, " And Courtney!- I mean psh, what no.." My voice trailed off. My other two friends Jared and Marshall raised their eyebrows at me. " Ugh, fine you caught me, I am absolutely scared they where the same age as us!" I said in defense. " Hey, don't worry I know they where all friends. We are just at that age. They just probably just decided that they where done with this tiny town. Everyone has grew up here, don't you think that you would want to explore the world? My point is, don't worry they probably just took off." Said Jared trying to be comforting. He stared concerningly at me. " Okay but only for a hour!" I said. I stopped and stared into the dense forest, it sent chills up my spine. They continued to walk up the road, all except Jared. He put his arm around me, I leaned up against his warm chest. He is so comforting, he makes me feel safe. "You coming, I mean if you don't want to disappear." Said Jared teasing. "Ya I'm coming."I said in a low voice.                     Tracie and Marshall where already far ahead. Jared walked beside me. A dark green truck with black tinted windows pulled up beside me. A man in a black sweater with his hood on rolled down his window. " Hey little lady, its a bit dark for such a precious gem like you to be out ain't it?" His voice croaked it made me want to run but I couldn't, I couldn't move my legs. It was like he put me under a spell. "Here, why don't my gem jump in my truck and I'll take you home.." Jared whispered in my ear to run and I did I ran all the way home. As I lied in my bed I wondered if I would ever see him again. I woke up and saw the green truck driving past my house, once again.
