YOUR LOVE SO SWEET

I lie here beside you

In a cold winter night,


   We have been here before

   Like many a winter.


The music plays on and on

through the night

filling our ears

with melody

 lyrics of love

  lyrics of loss

   songs of life

    songs of death

keeping our moods

 peaceful n tranquil

like the nights we spend

 when we lay togehter.



The night is drawing to a close

burnt out

after our passion's spent

the flames of our love simmering 

after the heat we shared

was set ablaze 

as the sun set...


Its 6am

soon the sun will be rising

you fall deeper into your sleep

as I lie here beside you

like I always do

night after night

keeping eachother warm.


Soon too I'll be asleep

in our room

dreaming of you

the star of my life

the one I love the most

I have been feeding

from your love

all these years

a taste so sweet

like honey

I still cant get enough

of your love.


Living and sleeping

its always you

I need close.
