The Judge’s Gavel

Quick to point, quick to blame,We cast the fault, we fan the flame.Blind to the mirrors we never face,Yet eager to judge another’s disgrace. Our words, like laws, we set in stone,As if our truth is truth alone. But life’s a prism, views collide,Each angle shifts, each side belied. Our thoughts, mere echoes of where we’ve been,Not sacred writ, but shaped within.Experience narrow, a fleeting lens,Yet we declare where each story ends.Oh, to pause, to truly see,That none are pure, none wholly free.To listen more, to judge far less,And find in flaws, our shared humanness.
