You cannot see everything that my eyes see,
 Even if we look in the same direction, 
 And see the same trees.  

Your hands can't feel
  How my flesh tightens my bones
  And how old memories cover 
  All the moments I live now.

 You can't say the words I'm waiting for, 
 The words I need to hear, 
 The words others have created.

  But I see you trying to get closer to me,
 I don't have the strength to push you away,
 I don't have the strength to love right away.
