There are really bad things
  That are happening in front of us: 
 Hatred, wars, killings, violence,
 Day after day getting worse.

 But we behave as if we were
  All suddenly mute and blind,
 I wonder how we can forget so quickly,
  About everything that history has left behind.

Our ancestors have already gone
  Through this many decades,
 As we should already know, 
 Many ended up really bad,
   For us to have a better life,
 Which many do not have nowadays.
