James 1: 1-4
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Have you ever been caught up in a bad situation, that didn't have anything to do with you? Only to be ridiculed, mocked & ostracized because you simply said no to someone else's wants. If you haven't yet, thank God that trouble didn't find you or knock on your door.
When all odds have been stacked against you, and now you've been left for dead. No one to help but God. And when you looked for family only to realize family jumped ship, and left you to drown with the boat.
Ohh my I turned to my left and to my right; no one was in sight. Everywhere I went was laughter from the lies planted by the enemy. Alone, desolate and in despair. Wondering God how long will you look on before you move? I already know what you promised but my God why so much pain & betrayals. A season of isolation became my solitude. Once you manage and realize that solitude is your peace, you become one hell of a weapon that Satan himself fears. In my silence I became vulnerable before God whom has seen all my nakedness, scars and yet still loves me in spite of. When hell broke loose on every side. Life's sin & temptations seemed to call me by my name; it was nobody but God that kept me and it's nobody but God that is keeping you to.
In saying when time get tough and sho'nuff rough & you don't see no way out, why jump ship or switch up on someone? After going through life for a season with a familiar person, why switch up when you fear danger? Has God said that He would not do? When you switch sides, it's the same as starting over & realizing you left better for worse. Never jump ship when you don't know what's in the water and you don't know how to swim. If God worked a miracle before can he not do it again? When you jump ship be prepared for battle testing, knowing the same tests that you failed before on the other side; will be the same test you'll repeat again. Being loyal and staying loyal aren't hard but it has to be in you. Never jump ship...
