Time, see it fade
As we grow old
Lost in our illusions
But who can tell
If we see it all
Or not today
As the grey hair comes
And kids go away

Foundations built
Wether strong or not
Who can tell
Until it rots
Calls for help
Dinner with friends
Where does it start
Where does it end

Time, keeps moving onward
Time, are we in its spell 
And the days go by
Turn into years
Eyesight goes
And so do our ears

Where is the life
You dreamed as a child
Did it ever come
Was it there for a while
And the paths you run
Seem so surreal
Everything changes
Can you still feel

Time, keeps moving onward
Time, are we in its spell 
And the words go away
And the love you would say
To family and friends
Have gone by the way

Time, slips through our hands
Time, nothing to grasp but sand
And the hourglass grows
But the sand still flows
Telling us we’ve lost
As the pain still grows
