scene 1: Fred was in the sitting room gisting with his wife and all of a sudden, the both of them heard a knock on the door.

Fred: my wife, are expecting a guest today that I don't know?
Doris: No ooo, my husband. I don't remember anyone that wants to pay us a visit today.

The knock on the door became so heavy on the the door the the couple became so worried and afraid so he got upset and walked close to the door.

Fred: Who is that person that will not make me have peace in my own house? Do you want to break down my door or what?

Landlord: Mr man, common will you open the door now before i get mad at you this minute.

Fred: OH! Oga landlord good morning sir i never knew that it was you sir.

Doris quickly rush to the door and open the door for Oga landlord and he entered the house angrily, with the intention of collecting his house rent that morning. Fred was giving Dorcas sign not to open the door for Oga landlord but she couldn't get it, by the time she will understand, it was too late already.

Fred: Oga landlord, good morning sir

Oga Landlord: what is good about your morning? the only good that will happen this morning is when I collect my house rest from you but for now nothing good about morning ooo.

the couple started to plead with the landlord to give them sometime to raise the money that by next week, he will have his full money.

Oga Landlord: Fred abi kilorukor e , I am running out of patience ooo, don't try me ooo. if you don't pay me my money as you promised, I will call my children and they will bundle you, your wife and your properties and throw you all out of my house.   

the couple: Ogalandlord, please it has not got to that sir, we are sorry sir, 

Oga landlord: it has gotten to that ooo, if not for your wife, I would have sent you away long ago,

Fred: yes next week, in short next month I will pay rent completely to you sir

Landlord: did I hear you well, month? oh! you want to be playing with be me,abi? oda, we shall see

the landlord angrily walked out of the apartment and walk away,
Fred also stared at the wife angrily and walked away. he was straight to the two seater chair and sat down with worry all over his face. Dorcas also who was close to the door, quickly lock the door and followed her husband to the sitting room,

she was looking unhappy with the way the landlord came to embarrass them because f house rent.

Dorcas: please I demand to know what is going on here.
 Fred: what do you want to know again, Dorcas I beg you in the name of God please let me be.

Dorcas: my husband are you saying I should let you be with all the embarassment I received from the landlord this morning, no I will not let you be.

Fred: please my head is full and I cant think straight or concentrate right now. I am just confused.

Dorcas: Last week you told me that some of your friend were sending some money to you for house rent and also Jide your younger brother in Canada also promise us some money so what happened.

Fred: Forget about those people you just mentioned. I called Jide several times and no he refused to pick my calls, he even did not returned my calls up til now as we speak. or is it my friends in America that I called countless times but no answer. I even sent text messages, no reply. Those who I put my trust on, has failed me and I don't know what to do anymore. where does oga landlord want me to raise that kind of money in this hard times, 950,000 for that matter.

Dorcas: That is why I always tell you that you should not be counting on your friends or your younger brother when it has to do with money. don't always put your hope on man for any reason. As a Christian, we should always put our trust in God  and not man because man can fail, man can disappoint but God almighty can never fail us or disappoint us eachtime we put our trust in him. The Bible made us to understand that in Proverbs 3:5-6, that we should trust in the lord and we should not lean on our own understanding. then Psalms 121:1 told us that our help comes from the lord, the maker of heaven and the earth.
I told you that we should pray about this house rent issue but you had so much cofidence in your friends and your younger brother in Abroad. if you had listen to me, your wife and we prayed about this issue, we wont be in this mess by now.

Fred: I am deeply sorry my wife, I should have listened to you in the first place. now look at the shame, the disgrace, the humiliation I have brought upon us.

Dorcas: my dear husband, you don't need to blame yourself. we are in this together and we must put heads together to win this war that the devil is fighting us together. this battle of financial lack, everytime no money in  our savings. we keep calling people for financial assistance, it must stop today.

Fred: Yes, it must stop. For I now put my trust in God. let him take charge over my situation right now.
Dorcas smiled at her husband and nodded in agreement to what he said.

Dorcas: my husband, let us pray.
Fred: OK my darling wife.

The both of them joined hands together and prayed.

Few days later, there testimonies upon testimonies in the lives of Fred and Dorcas and God bless them financially beyond their imagination or expectation. They shared the testinomy with the brethren in the church, became faithful with their tithes, help the needy, touch alot of lives positively with part of their wealth, they became a blessing to many lives and also became one of the sponsor of the Gospel world wide.
