Hi
My name is Loss
You know the way
I live by you
Don’t turn around
And spoil the way
That things are now

And all you feel
And all you know
Are the words I speak
And pain I sow
The way things were
Before we met
Won’t be the same
Filled with regret

Let me -
Introduce my friends
They’re here to help
Put you on the path
That we have dealt
Can you hear their voices
Echo in the silence
You once called your own
Before their lies

And now I see
Familiarity
Is not the friend
That I need
Can you hear the cries
From within
That tear down walls
End where I begin

Forward we move
Within your life
Taking room
In your strife
Feel the blade
Cut so deep
Where is the healing
We all seek

And now I feel
The pain within
That you shared
As the blade sank in
Feel my life
Drip upon the floor
Where is the light
The open door

Sit here crying
In my despair 
I realize my life
Is in disrepair 
But is there time

In a deep dark whole

Shapes of things
