Day in amd day out i sit within my cell
Co-existing with these demons in my personal version of hell
Looking back its sickening just how far i fell
How i go from there to here i swear ill never know
Really that i was the star of my show
But i forgot about the man behind the curtain
Lost it all within a blink of an eye
Went into a downward spiral and lost complete controls
All it was sex, drugs, and rock and roll
Felt like i was living the life
Married to the game and the fast lane as my wife
A line of girls who's names i cant remember
I mean honestly is it March or December
But here i sit in this cell sober and clean
All the time in the world to just sit back and think
But thats not exactly true
My property's packed waiting by the door
As the date finally comes and i re-enter the real world im standing at the fork in the road
Trying to decipher which way i should go
Looking to the left i see everyone i know
Not all of them exactly some are laying 6 feet below
I look to the right, the path is overgrown and narrow
I remain there hours upon hours til i lose any concept of time
I then gather my belongings and start walking that straight line
Cause the most important thing i learned from doing my time 
Is a cage is a cage even without any bars
