Feel the wind upon my back
As I wander on the snowy pack
Footsteps leading to my home
To a family I long to see

Thoughts of family and friends
Of a home forgotten now
Will I make it there to see
Those who love me

I’ve seen so much I can’t deny
The world is bigger than you or I
Stories of foreign lands
That I long to tell

Will you join me by the fire
And listen to me spin a tale
Of all I’ve seen and all I’ve done
In the time I was gone

Met kings and queens of foreign lands
Met teachers, prophets and the like
Met merchants too, rich and poor
So many people, so many doors

Were opened for me as I went
From land to land, tent to tent
Prayer was given and received
We saw some healed who were diseased

But none compared to those who received
The word of GOD, let none be deceived
It spoke to all who heard the words
To free them all from satans power

So bless us here we do not lack
We come for more to carry back
To the lost who still reside
In the streets and mountainsides

Bringing hope to all we see
We share the love we have received
Come to us and hear the word
That gives new life to all who’ve heard
