Forgive me, dear, that I waited too long
 For the right time to come...
While the distance divided 
Our invisible threads of love around now.

 And that time unfortunately never came, 
 But as long as I had hope I felt alive...   
Somehow, I'm still waiting for better times for us.

 I haven't seen you for many years already,
 But you are alive in my mind,
 As if you never left me alone here,
Calling your name many times a day,
Thousands of times a night.

We still text each other from time to time,
 The invisible threads of care
 Keep our thoughts tied.
Maybe one day it will be the right time...
To make you come and stay; right in my arms.
