I never took you for 

Someone who would

Break my heart,

You made me believe in love

Just so you can hurt me

I don't blame you nor me
You didn't force me to love you
Just my heart chose to.

Love is sweet just 
you made
Me hate it

I used to be happy with you
But now I can't tolerate
Your presence 
I used to smile when your name

Pop up my screen

But now I frown 
I was innocent and 
You changed that
You made sure that you turned
The sweet little girl you found 

In me into someone I can't recognize. 

I made you my rock and you 

Made sure that you crash 

Me into pieces 

What used to be a shelter 
Turned into something that 
Destroyed me in less than a second 

My consciousness warned me

And you told me that I was overthinking 
"I will never hurt you" you would say 
and
I believed every lie you said

I ignored all the signs and 
warnings 
I got about you so
Maybe it's true when they say

Love is blind cause I didn't see 
Your betrayal coming
