Losing ourselves 

In a digital reality, 

Completely unaware 

That we're feeding the machine.

Perceptions change

With a stroke of the key,

What is real?

What to believe? 

Plugged into these

Worlds of fantasy,

Algorithms contrive 

To construct our dreams.

An innocent escape

Becomes the addiction,

And we steadily weave ourselves 

Into the fiction.
