This was extremely hard to picture. I have two dogs in my home, so picturing them as wolves in love from a wolf's perspective was really hard. Anyway, feel free to quit reading now...



One: The mate selection

On the winter of Lord Kiran's second year, an alpha of the Regan Pack, the leading pack of the four tribes, a mate selection of the most beautiful, elegant and intellectually gifted and moreover athletically skilled females was held. This year's mate selection was different because Omegas were allowed to participate.
 Only one representative of the omegas was brought forth and that was me, Aliyah, an omega from the Yade Pack, the pack of omegas.



We all stood in a straight line, all 4 of us females. I was wondering why I was even chosen, Lord Kiran was definitely going to choose Xianna, an alpha from the Regan Pack. She was the pure definition of PERFECT. She had golden fur all over except for her under which was covered in white.
 
At last, Lord Kiran made his dramatic entrance, his black and white fur shining in the afternoon sun. His father Gordon stood beside him, giving Xianna a knowing smile. I bet he reckoned Kiran would choose her as his mate.

Lord Kiran began to walk towards us, apparently, he was going to lick the nose upward to the forehead of the female he wanted, signifying her as his mate. He walked (past)Xianna, and for a moment I thought he hadn't seen her there. He walked on, passing the second and third females. He stopped when he reached me, then he smiled. I could feel the others giving me nasty glares and that didn't matter because I was completely absorbed into Lord Kiran's golden eyes. "What's your name?" He asked. "Aliyah my lord" I croaked out. "That's a...captivating name" He said, his smile not wavering. "Thank you Lord Kiran" I managed to reply. He brought out his tongue, then I felt it at the tip of my nose, then all the way up to my forehead. Oh my gosh!!! Did he just...? He just did didn't he?
"Uuuhhh, my son Kiran's new mate? Aliyah the Omega, now an alpha!" Lord Gordon announced to the crowed that had gathered  for the occasion, he didn't sound to sure of what was going on, or what he was saying and, who could blame him?

3 days later: Lord Kiran's den:

"My lord, when shall we begin the mating process?" I ask. It had been 3 days since Lord Kiran chose me as his mate and we had yet to begin the mating process, you know, the process to make pups. We had moved to a new den that could be called ours which, he had proudly said he dug himself, and believe me, I was beyond impressed. 
"Stop calling me that" He said as he caressed my head with his chin. It felt so good and I had to pant in satisfaction. "You're still a child, you're barely a year and a half" He continued. I stop panting. "But my...I mean Kiran, I'm ready, I've already experienced my first heat too" I reply. "Not with a mate you haven't. Just drop it ok? Besides, there's something I need to tell you later, but first, let me go catch us us a deer to eat" He says as he gets up. I get up with him. "I'm coming with you" I say. "Oh no you're not" He replies. He doesn't give me time to protest and before I could blink, he had taken off into the cold, blistering snow.
