It took me a lifetime to meet you,
 And now that I know you completely, 
It will take me a lifetime to forget 
Everything I know about you.

Kind of depressing but I kept my zest for life,
 I don't want to turn back time,
 I want to live the time 
I still have inside my lungs.

  I'm not looking for love anymore, 
I'm grateful for what I got,
It took me a lifetime to meet you,
It will take me a lifetime to forget.
