Behind her eyes

There is an untold story

That only she knows

The road she traveled

The dark tunnels 

She crawled through

Behind her eyes

There is an untold story

Of how she 

Became who 

She is today

Behind her eyes

There is an untold story

That make you cry

If told how dark 

Her world was

And how she 

Was able to crawl

Out the light at the end

Of that long 

Narrow tunnel

Behind her eyes

She holds the untold story

That built her

As strong as 

She is today

With a brave face 

Each day she wakes

Each day as she steps out

Each day as she 

Continues to reach the light

That pulled her through

Each dark tunnel 

Each dark wave 

Each dark road

Behind her eyes

To show others 

Like her

To stand tall

To stand proud

To stand brave

To show their

Battle scares 

To show 

The light that 

Bought them 

Through those 

Dark tunnels
