A world devoid of superheroes
With villains all around
Who will be our Superman
When the chips are down

Robbery and violence
Seem the norm today
Just a little fame to
Celebrate new games

Internet spread the word
Images galore
Just a little of your time
It’s me you should adore

Who will shine a light
Upon this darkened street
Who will spread the word
Where dark and light shall meet

Jesus came and spoke to us
Showed us where to walk
Showed us how to live our lives
Showed us how to talk

Have we been abusing
That which we were taught
Or are we doing His will
Shine a light on every spot

Will you come and see
Our champion for eternity
Or will you remain lost
Wrapped in darkest impurity
