MY MORNING PRAYER

Gingered from the morning dew
Waking me up from the pit of Grace
Only to see the smiling sun
Know that it's not of my strength 

After I have done the morning rituals 
Speaking to my Father up above 
Telling Him to lead the path
I only but cannot go without Him

I look and plan for the day 
Led by another being
The Holy Spirit I should say 
Teaching me all the routes of life
I have never doubted him
To say all things are of chances?

The day has already begun
I should never soil the plans 
God forgive my enemies
I know very well I will be tempted
But I trust your loving mercies 
That I can also forgive
Help me to watch and pray

This is the way I live my life
Never stranded nor wandering
I am just to tell you this
To tell you, your Father loves you
Occupy your mind with Him only
And all will be at rest.
