The water rushes in, it crashes down,
Lungs beg for sweet air, each breath is tight
So far from the surface.. nothings around
The waves swell, there goes all sight
Everything turns foggy, darkness crowns
Somewhere in the depths there’s a light
And somehow you find its peaceful to drown
Find peace in letting go
Stop living in fear
Find peace in moving on
There’s no need to shed a tear
Finding peace is a transition.
It happens when the mind becomes clear
Peace is an exchange of energy
With those that are held dear
Pain spills freely to the floor
It seaps into every crack
The heart falters, beating once more
Life flashes showing one what they lack
The soul lifts, it begins to soar
Now there’s a stone with a plaque
And somehow you find its peaceful to shut the door
Find peace in letting go
Stop living in fear
Find peace in moving on
There’s no need to shed a tear
Finding peace is a transition.
It happens when the mind becomes clear
Peace is an exchange of energy
With those that are held dear
Peace is a life long dream
One that has no end
It’s a journey up stream
Peace is a friend
One day the engine will run out of steam
Here’s a note of advice life can lend
You’ll find peace, death isn’t what it may seem
