You turned off the music 

That was heard from your heart

 Your eyes were hidden from my gaze, 

... Oceans apart. 
 I would like to take my soul out of this blood

 And be in another body that you 

Could hug for the longest time.  
We saw together

 How our sandcastle crumbled,

 And love left your heart saved for another.
I have thousands of questions 

And I wonder why, I always wonder.

The music had to stop and the love had to end, Saved for another...
