Starting the day in your absence,

 It's hard for me not cry;

'Cause the days are too long 

And it's hard to stay on my feet 

Until I go to bed.  
Trying hard I got nothing,

 Goodbye my love, goodbye, 

I have to get used to the loneliness 

But the longing for you calls you

 Wherever I go. 
 If I had known from the beginning 

That you would leave, 

I would have loved you the same way, 

Crying the same tears.
