The Night Over The Sea Read Count : 151

the ocean still roars around us

with long and measured swelling,

the autumn storm fills our canvas with the weight of a tired soul.

the warm sun rises and sets

the night brings wet dew.

draw me to the lake shore, why can't we be like the river.
where the wrecked hull and broken mast lie.
then the sky was more beautiful and the shores were firmer...

the blue sea rolled over the bright sand;

chatter and chatter, ripples and murmurs.
long sips of wine;

deepens the dreamiest distance.
