Even the darkness first met the light,

 I know how to deal with both in my life.  

I'm not afraid to fall... I've fallen many times;

 The higher I go, the stronger my legs get.
Even the strongest were weak, 

The rock first and then the sand.

 Sometimes rain is needed

 When the sun is too hot

 And dries the green flowers.
I can live in the dark,

 There were days when blood 

Ran through my eyes.
 I can live in the light, 

There were days when I laughed 

With all my heart.
